Planning on Blowing Up the Cheese Store
No obligations… just the need to create plain comedy. That was the starting point for making ‘Planning on Blowing Up the Cheese Store.’ It is because I do not always want to create material that serves a purpose other than entertaining. Sometimes it is refreshing to give creativity full play, by only concerning myself with the question: would this be fun to watch?
The plot in a nutshell: there is a guy with a grudge against cheese, too much fantasy, and too easy acces to explosives. His name is Niguel, and he is planning his mission as carefully as a possum on steroids.
I adapted the method of improvisation that felt good when making ‘For the Sake of Montage,’ but did more polishing in the edit this time. This way I came up with ideas for an animated intro- and outro sequence. These ideas have been executed by Daniël van Asdonck, owner of Youtube channel DanMegacam.
